Marios Gregoriou Managing Director
Marios started his career in 1981 with the Union Bank of Norway, at the main branch in Oslo. In December 1981, he immigrated to New York City, where he continued his work in international trade and finance, while attending classes at NYU's Graduate School in Business Administration. In 1986, he moved to San Francisco and added two years of experience in trading in the dynamic world of futures. In 1994, he joined Morgan Stanley in Sacramento, where he built valuable relationships with institutional and private wealth clients.
The dramatic changes in the financial markets over the past few years created a rather restrictive business platform within the large broker/dealer environment. Marios felt that, in order to serve his clients with the utmost professionalism and care, a change was needed. He formed Elite Capital Services, LLC, to return to the personalized attention required by each client and to get away from the "cookie cutter" approach. His international travel and foreign culture interactions enable him to better understand the complex relationships between overseas economies and the U.S. markets.
Marios holds an MBA in Finance from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Economics from the Athens School of Economics and Business.
Marios was a guest speaker on various financial subjects at several events, including the California Dental Association forum at Palm Springs, the Sacramento Dental Component monthly meeting, the University of Nevada at Reno, conference on international trade and finance, and guest speaker at the Graduate School of Management at U.C. Davis.
